Kim joined Helmdon Acorns in December 2010 as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner progressing into the role of Deputy Supervisor in September 2012.
Kim has been the Setting Manager since November 2021, sharing this role alongside Susanna Morgan. She is also our setting’s SENCO and has a Level 3 in Paediatric first aid. Kim is a key worker to a group of children and her group is the ‘Red Group’.
Susanna joined Helmdon Acorns in September 2011 as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. She completed her Level 3 Forest School qualification in 2016 and runs our weekly Forest School sessions.
In November 2016 Susanna was promoted to Deputy Supervisor to work alongside Kim. Susanna has been in the Setting Manager position since November 2021 job sharing this role alongside Kim Sadler. She is a Level 3 in Paediatric first aid. Sue is a key worker to a group of children and her group is the ‘Blue Group’
Lorraine joined Helmdon Acorns in September 2018 as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. Lorraine is a key worker to a group of children and her group is the ‘Purple Group’.
Lorraine also has her Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.
Alice joined Helmdon Acorns in February 2023 as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. Alice is a Keyworker to a group of children and her group is the ‘Green group’.
Alice holds a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.
Level 3 Qualified Samantha joined Helmdon Acorns in January 2022 as an Early Years Practitioner. In 2023, Sam started her Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, completing it with distinction in July 2025. Sam is a keyworker to a group of children and her group is the ‘Yellow Group’.
